Investigations

Juneau County Sheriff's Office Detective's are responsible for investigating a variety of criminal activity such as violent crimes, property crimes, weapon offenses, sexual assault, battery, drug investigations, sexual predator investigations, sudden death, and stolen vehicles.

Detective's also perform evidence processing, fingerprinting, DNA collection and also secure recovered property and other evidence for cases. Assignment of investigations is based on priority with the most serious offenses assigned first.

Detectives are on-call 24hrs a day, 365 days a year to assist with these types of investigations. There are 4 Detectives assigned to Investigations.
