The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Eagle Country provides older adults and people with physical or intellectual/developmental disabilities the resources needed to live with dignity and security, and achieve maximum independence and quality of life. The goal of the ADRC is to empower individuals to make informed choices and to streamline access to the right and appropriate services and supports. The ADRC of Eagle Country is regional in Southwest Wisconsin and serves Crawford, Juneau, Richland, and Sauk Counties. |

Disability Benefit Specialist
The Disability Benefit Specialist (DBS) program is a service of Wisconsin’s Aging & Disability Resource Centers. Disability Benefit Specialists are experts at working on behalf of those with a disability. There is no charge for Disability Benefit Specialist Services.

Elder Benefit Specialist
Elder Benefit Specialists can provide direct representation for older adults on certain issues. This may involve appealing a denial of eligibility of benefits under numerous government programs such as:

NUTRITION PROGRAM
The Juneau County Senior Nutrition Program provides nutritious meals to individuals age 60 years and older as well as eligible persons living with a disability. The meal program provides congregate dining, carry out and home delivered meal options. There is no specific charge for the meals, however there is a suggested contribution of $4.25 for each meal to help support and maintain the program operations.

REGISTRATION
Participants are asked to complete a Client Intake Form on their initial visit and then annually thereafter. This information will remain confidential and is necessary for the continuation of funding for this program through federal and state governments. RESERVATIONS Reservations are required and should be made with the dining center manager by 2:00 pm the day before you plan to attend or have a meal delivered. CANCELLATIONS If you wish to cancel your meal or you are going to be late, Please call your dining center manager as soon as possible. This helps to ensure minimal waste and control costs. Funding
The Juneau County Nutrition Program is a federal and state funded program through the Older Americans Act and is supplemented by Juneau County tax levy and participant contributions. Your contribution, big or small helps to make a difference! HOME DELIVERED MEALS
Home delivered meals are also served from all dining centers. For these meals a physician’s referral is recommended but not required. Frozen meals are available for those who need them on weekends. DINING CENTER CLOSINGS
Listen to WRJC for any dining center closings. Typically when schools are closed due to poor weather, the dining centers will be closed and meal delivery will be cancelled as well. If in doubt call the ADRC at 608-847-9371. Benefits of the Nutrition Program:

The ADRC can connect you with access to transportation to reach your destination. Whether you need to get to a medical appointment, pick up groceries or visit a friend, the ADRC can provide you with a variety of options.
