The Aging and Disability Resource Center Eagle Country Juneau County Office provides several transportation services and options for individuals age 60 and over or living with a disability that are not able to drive independently. Priority trips are given first to individuals in need of medical care. Trips for shopping and social/recreational may also be available.  Let us help you get where you need to go!

Programs currently available include: 

Volunteer Escort Driver Program: The volunteer driver program provides non-emergency transportation to and from medical appointments for individuals age 60 and over or living with a disability. Transportation is coordinated through the ADRC Office and rides are provided by local volunteers using their own vehicles. There is a small fee for this service. Participants must also be able to transfer in and out of the volunteer driver's vehicle with minimum to no assistance. 

Find Your Own Driver Program:  The Find Your Own Driver Program encourages participants in need of ongoing transportation services to connect with in their own circle of family and friend support to meet their transportation needs. Eligible participants are then reimbursed a portion of the mileage accrued. This program is for medical appointments only. There is an application process for this program and reimbursement limits depending on funding availability. 

Handicap Accessible Bus/Van: The ADRC has two handicap wheel-chair accessible vans and one handicap wheel chair accessible bus. Use of this program is available for individuals who require use of a wheelchair or ramp to get in and out of a vehicle. Priority trips are given to those in needs of transportation to and from medical appointments. A small fare fee is charged for each trip. Bus shopping trips and excursions are also available and offered monthly. 

Taxi Voucher Program: The ADRC offers taxi voucher punch cards for a reduced rate to individuals age 60 and over or living with a disability utilizing the Mauston Taxi-Cab service. Punch cards are available for $5.00 purchase at the ADRC Office. There is a limit of 2 punch cards per month per individual.
