Volunteer Opportunities

Home Delivered Meal Volunteer Delivery Driver-  Home delivered meal volunteers deliver a nutritious meal to home bound participants on the nutrition home delivered meal (meals on wheels) program. Meals are delivered Monday- Friday throughout Juneau County. Volunteering is based on your availability and can vary from one day a month or as often you would like. Mileage reimbursement is available for volunteer drivers.  If you enjoy meeting new people and want to really make a difference in someone's life this is the opportunity for you! Drivers are currently needed to deliver meals in the Wonewoc and Lyndon Station areas. 

Meal Site Assistant Volunteer- Meal site volunteers assist with packaging meals, preparing for the next day tasks or serving meals to eligible congregate diners at one of our 5 meal site locations. Volunteers can choose when and how often they would like to volunteer.

Volunteer Escort Driver- Assist in transporting older adults and or individuals living with a disability who are unable to drive to various appointments or activities. Did you know that in 2023, our volunteer escort drivers drove over 118,000 miles providing over 3,000 trips to and from medical appointments and related activities in Juneau County? Become one of our amazing drivers and help make a difference in your community! Volunteers can choose their own schedule and availability! Mileage reimbursement is provided.
