Wilderness Park

Located 30 miles north of Mauston and 16 miles south of Nekoosa, Juneau County Wilderness Park is situated in a beautiful, wooded area on the 23,000 acre Petenwell Flowage. The park comprises approximately 70 acres and has 127 sites available for camping with 107 sites having electrical hookups. Each campsite has a fire ring and picnic table. We welcome all types of camping units.
Recreational opportunities available at Juneau County Wilderness Park are hiking, swimming, boating, water skiing, fishing, canoeing, and play­ground equipment. Other amenities include: flushable toilets, showers and dump station.
