Community Health Planning Process
Community Action Teams (CATs) have been established to further analyze the key areas of improvement to identify more targeted community solutions. The CATs are charged with bringing together experts in key areas and driving community change. CAT meetings will take place in room 209 of the Services Building in Mauston (200 S. Hickory St.) and over zoom. The CATs include Good Jobs and Strong Economy, Affordable Housing, and Accessible Housing.

- The group is planning innovative solutions around expanding childcare services, workforce training and development, and employer recruitment and retention strategies.

- The group is conducting a countywide housing survey, launching a financial literacy course and creating a developer fund opportunity.

- The group is developing a subsided Uber program and exploring busing options outside of the county.
