Tuberculin Skin Testing Tuberculin Skin Testing (TST) is done at Juneau County Health Department. The Mantoux tuberculin skin test is the standard method of determining whether a person is infected with Mycobacerium tuberculosis. Reliable TST administration and reading requires that the skin test reaction should be read between 48 and 72 hours after administration. Tuberculin Skin Testing is done by appointment and is not administered on Thursdays. Tuberculin Skin Testing is $20 per test or $35 for a two step test.
