220 East State Street Rooms 110 and 112 Mauston, WI 53948 608 847-9308 dgiebel@co.juneau.wi.us Duties The duties of the County Treasurer are defined by Wisconsin Statute, and those duties include receiving and receipting all monies from all sources; paying out all monies belonging to the county; keeping accurate financial records, the collection of all postponed and delinquent real estate taxes as well as maintaining accurate records of those collections. In Juneau County, tax delinquent properties are foreclosed by the In Rem Tax Foreclosure Proceeding, and the County Treasurer has the responsibility for this action. The County Treasurer also exercises any investment authority delegated to the Treasurer by the County Board and complies with the rules and policies of the County Board. |

Finance and Computer Committee Services: If you want to pay a delinquent tax, please call 608-847-9308 if to pay by credit card, debt card or E-Check. 2023 current year taxes cannot be paid to Juneau County at this time. You must pay your 1st installment or full payment to your local treasurer through January 31st of each year. Please check with your local treasurer for payment options. ![]()
